Jarv + Ola in Spitalfields

Jarv + Ola had a proper London urban wedding on a gorgeous Saturday in July.  They were guests at Gwen and Jim’s wedding last year, and if there’s one thing I remember the most from their wedding, it was the guests who were some of the friendliest I’ve come across.   I met Ola at her mum’s house to catch her preparations then we all headed to Stoke Newington Town Hall to meet nearly 200 guests and of course, Jarv.  Here are a few faves:

Jarv was christened “Jarv” by his mates because of his resemblance to that other Jarv.  You be the judge:

Before going to the reception at Hawksmoor’s Christ Church in Spitalfields, we stopped off at Spitalfields market for a little wander.

It was nice to also meet up with Roger, from Diamond Films who I’ve worked with loadsa times.  He always goes that extra mile to get the shot!  Here’s one of him filming Jarv + Ola practicing their first dance while a small audience looks on:

Later in the evening Jarv + Ola changed into traditional Nigerian dress.

A party isn’t a party without a bit of limbo…
